Horror movie ID - snow, isolation , mountains
Watched on IFC I believe about 2003-5. I think it was a present day flick. I didn't get to see the entire thing, it was in the afternoon.
A group of scientists/ resesrchers seem to be in the Rockies in winter, lots of snow.
They work in Quanset huts.
A few people get killed by someone unknown. One guy goes missing, they find him murdered outside in a pool of blood frozen. I got the feeling that the murder was done by a human, not a monster, but cannot be sure.
One scene, one of the leaders comes into a hut to fix the plumbing , some pipes, and he has to climb a few stairs to reach the pipes. These pipes were right in the open , in the same space the experiments were taking place.
In the same hut, a researcher is looking at something on a lab table and only the table area is illuminated, the rest of the place is dark, and he/she cannot see beyond the light of the table.A noise is heard.
Many thanks to anyone who can help.
