Which celebrity death would change the movie making business the most?

There are so many. I pick one: I think the director James Cameron for his spectacular action movies that have revolutionalized the way we are entertained.
Steven Spielberg is another.

What other celebrities in Hollywood do you think their death would leave a hole in the movie making business?

Hi Terry!

It would be James Cameron and Steven Spielberg for me too. I would also add the following:

1. John Lasseter. A huge player in animation and all its innovations.

2. Brad Pitt. Movies such as 'Twelve Years A Slave' and 'Moonlight' might not have been made without his power to champion them.

3. Jason Blum. Blum has changed the way low budget films are made. He would continue to innovate.

4. Christopher Nolan and (5) Quentin Tarantino. Both of these writer-directors champion the old fashioned way of watching a film in the cinema. As long as they make films, there would be many others who would be reminded that cinema and cinema-going do matter to millions of people.

Note: This is obviously a morbid topic for discussion. However, most of us don't really show our appreciation to the ones that matter in our lives until it is too late. So, in the unlikely event of any of the persons mentioned here reading it, James, Steven, John, Brad, Jason and Quentin, your achievements matter more than you might ever know.

Sorry but your thoughts are on the wrong path. This topic isn't morbid. I don't even know where you came up with such a morbid thought.
