Official YouTube Video Thread - Asian Entertainment Themed

I was thinking that we should create a thread for fun and/or interesting YouTube video clips related to Asian movies and/or entertainment in general. Feel free to post actor/director interviews, trailers, or other good stuff. Try not to post links to full movies because that could get the thread deleted.

I’ll get it started.

As I just posted this in another thread I use it here as well, where it is probably of more use.

I have not much acquaintance with Japanese rock. The only things I can recommend are the groups I like, and those are probably not those that would work for most of you. Probably you should look here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_rock#Rock.

Anyhow, I'm a huge fan of The Back Horn. By far the most advanced of the few Asian rock groups I've got into. I have checked out quite a few Japanese rock and metal bands on youtube. But I want melody and rhythm in combination. Both together is not easy to find.

Here are some Japanese rock pieces:

Group/singer - title - link
Rurutia (sings mostly pop) - Halleluja 2004 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g0S7GE4REnI (symphonic metal)

Utada Hikaru (sings mostly pop) - Show me love (not a dream) 2010 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TU8qHU0zIY (software edited version of credit song in Tomorrow's Joe)

L'Arc~en~ciel (alternative rock) - Shine 2012 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VaiRkHIZk-A (opening of anime Serei no Moribito, found them through this, still my top favourite song by them)
L'Arc~en~ciel - Chase 2012 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FLF1hLbEtQ
L'Arc~en~ciel - Pretty Girl 2007 -http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eSdLch4V5og live in Paris
L'Arc~en~ciel - Link 2007 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufU5YhhPNeM live in Tokyo

The Back Horn (alternative rock) - Awakening (Kakusei) 2008 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SAryMFr3c2Y Evangelion fan video
The Back Horn - Cobalt Blue 2004 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIwC9In4G5E (they look completely high or drunk )
The Back Horn - Hajimete no Kokyu de 2006 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3iqn0cGUUj0
The Back Horn - Born in the Way Of Light (Umare Yuku Hikari) 2008 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wl-REyYcXOo&t=51s live

Now some Korean rock .

In the Korean drama Shut Up Flower Boy Band (2012) - around a Korean rock band in its early stages - it was mentioned that they should try to come out in Japan as there is far more interest in rock than in Korea.

The Korean rock band CNBLUE http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CNBLUE made its debut in Japan 2009. Lead-singer/rhythm-guitarist Jung Yong-hwa and drummer Kang Min-hyuk appear in the Korean drama Heartstrings (2011) which is also quite good.

Press conference for Cold Eyes. This is a Korean remake of the Chinese film Eye in the Sky, which is one of my favorite movies of recent years. I’m really looking forward to this one because I’m sure the Koreans will ramp up the high-octane elements:

Some good stuff there. Those Black Horn dudes are too energetic to be high or drunk. Maybe they took amphetamines?

After Ong Bak 3 I've grown less confident in Tony Jaa's future films, but the trailer for Tom Yum Goong 2 looks like a lot of fun. He's looking for his elephant again, which has always been a hilarious plot in my mind.
