Anyone know any good Middle Eastern films?

What do you mean by "Middle Eastern films"? The term is problematic in a cultural sense, just as "Eastern European" was when it was a political term (Warsaw Pact countries), etc.

It can refer to anything from Iranian, to North African, to Israeli. As I would like to give you an answer, can you please narrow the focus of the question.

The Kite Runner is an excellent film.

The Kite Runner is an American film partially set in Afghanistan. I don't think it qualifies as "Middle Eastern".

I haven't seen many films from that part of the world. But West Beyrouth (1998) was a good one I remember. Also Children of Heaven and Waltz with Bashir (animated).
