Sad day or happy day?

With a heavy heart, I have tasked myself in reporting to my frequent collaborator, dogdump, that Dean Foods has declared bankruptcy.😥Awwww...These things make him sad even though consumers have chosen to decrease their milk product purchases. I, myself, am a whole milk products person and I share my sadness with dogdump. 😥 Awwww....

The company, which produces some of the country's most recognizable milk and dairy products, including Dairy Pure, Organic Valley and Land O'Lakes milks, has blamed its struggles on the "accelerated decline in the conventional white milk category."😥

That's not the only problem Dean Foods has faced. Walmart (WMT), which was one of Dean Food's biggest customers, dropped them last year after building its own dairy plant.

Dogdump says, "shame on you for buying Wal-Mart milk! See what happened!" 🤬

In contrast, and while still much smaller, sales of oat milk has jumped 636% to $53 million over the past year.🤗

The market demand was simply not there as people don't like cows anymore.😥 But it's good news for oat and soy milk people!😍

I know this is a hard day for dogdump, so when you get a chance today, give him a pat on the back. Awwwww...😥 Tell him to cheer up. Dogdump is a soy boy and oat and soy milk will be plentiful! 😍 Yaaaay!
