I'm not getting my hopes up...this sounds too much like 2016. I think there's a good chance the polls are wrong again and Trump will win...perhaps another EC vote while losing the popular vote. The reason I don't trust the polls is NOT just because of 2016, but because of the response to polling calls. In the 1990s 36% of those called would respond. Now, I read where it's only ~6%. It seems a lot of people are just tired of answering their phones and are often unwilling to answer polling calls. And I think this favors the right because older people...like me...are sick of callers invading our privacy and either just hang up or respond with nonsense/lies. And older people tend to be for Trump.
shareI know the polls could be wrong. I'm not even sure how they do them; calling people who are dumb enough to answer the phone?! They've certainly never asked my opinion. But I know that people don't want 4 more years of this ultrarightwing disaster!
