I don’t know. When some thug starts beating the hell out of you or comes at you with a machete why don’t you call a cop? If you have a home invasion and not murdered call a cop. When s/he comes to your aid ask “Why are you so evil”?

You said why don't I call a cop AFTER a crime. Bingo! The job of most cops is going to the scene after crimes have already been committed. Hence whenever there's a school shooting--too many to count due to the NRA and their supporters--after the shooting is all done and the shooter shoots himself, the heavily armed cops show up with the media. Or in the case of Parkland they actually wait outside during the shooting.

You just made the primary point why people should be able to arm themselves. Because usually the cops aren't going to get there in time, so it's up to you to protect yourself.

Never happened. However, cops are always laying in wait along the roadside everywhere you go to rob you or worse. Especially on the weekends like right now when people just want to go out and have fun. They are literally highwaymen. Never lost a red cent to a criminal. However, the police owe me about $1000 in wrongful traffic tickets.
They are NEVER out during 9am rush hour traffic when people are driving like real maniacs.
I don't know why these cops did this. If they're so dumb they don't understand the concept of someone being paralysed, they probably voted Biden.
We can't make a judgment until we see a good bodycam video. The video in the article below shows the shooting and aftermath but the cop's arm is blocking the view of the guy when he was shot. The cops in this video are not evil since they patched him up after the shooting. It looks like the cops provided first aid to save his life.
There should be a standardized command used by cops since I've seen videos where two or three cops are yelling contradictory commands. I think "Stop. Hands Up!" is the best command but I've seen a lot of cops yelling to get on the ground.

Look man seriously. We've seen good body cam footage. There are a few good apples but the bad apples have caused the majority of them to rot. The time for denial is long over. Police should be disarmed and better trained.

Lots of corrupt cops through the years. Sad there are many out there. But, there are many good cops as well. Hard to tell how many are bad and how many are good since the culture is to not snitch usually.
