SupportTool.exe.bat

I noticed this file in my System32 folder earlier today. I tried googling it, but I didn't find much. I know there's a "supporttool.exe" that has to do with Trend Micro, which I have (and which upgraded recently), but I haven't been able to find whether or not the batch file has anything to do with it or not (or why it'd be in system32 and not a folder associated with Trend Micro). Is this legitimate or should I be concerned?

i am curious to see what commands are in the .bat file.

i think you should be able to right click it and select edit (just don't run it if you want to play it safe). once it's opened with a text editor (notepad etc i think is the default(?)) it should show you exactly what it runs basically.

i might know some of it which is why i am curious as to what it shows.

Hm. It just says:

@"C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\Titanium\SupportTool.exe" %*

it looks legit in my opinion then as it appears it only runs that file and you said Trend Micro was legit.

i doubt there is anything to worry about.
