I don't take movie.reviews.seriously and hardly.read them anymore. When I do read it, I just take it with a grain of salt. If I like the trailer, the actors in it and if it looks entertaining, then I'll see it even if critiques hate it. And when I read reviews.after I've seen a movie, I then critique the critics review on whither they are spot on or totally off base.

reply

Don't care even if I see them before the movie I disagree with a lot of critics.

I do, mostly on YouTube. But I do also read some on IMDB and some Roger Ebert.

"Most Trees Are Blue" - Jaden Smith

I love in depth reviews that break down the artist vision and the themes. It's a shame there are barely any like that. But I look for those types of reviews after most worth while movies I see.

I don't read Much movie reviews anymore. Back in the 90's I read reviews first before I watch a movie. There was this movie "Much A Do About Nothing" with an all-star cast including Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, Michael Keaton, highly praised by critics. I watched it and to me It's totally boring film if you're not into Shakespeare even if good actors are in it. So now, it doesn't matter what the critics say, if it's popular I'd probably watch it.

The only movie reviews I watched are Siskel & Ebert.
