Susan Lucci TV movies

Another thread to discus the TV movies of an actress known for her TV movie career. Here are the ones I've seen:

1. Secret Passions (aka. Haunted By Her Past) (1987) I really like this one. I still remember watching it the night it premiered back in 1987. Susan stars as a woman who, along with her husband and another couple, visits an old town (like Salem) and Susan starts having flashbacks of being there back in another life. I highly recommend this one!

2. Between Love and Hate (1993) Another good one that I watched the night it premiered in 1993. Susan stars as a wealthy socialite who starts having an affair with a young man who works at her country club. The most surprising and memorable part of the movie is the ending. I recommend this one too!

3. Blood on Her Hands (1998) Another good one, starring Susan as a very manipulative vixen. It's a fun movie. This, along with the first 2, are her very best.

4. Seduced and Betrayed (1995) Susan plays a rich woman who becomes obsessed with a young contractor. Rather dull.

5. Ebbie (aka. Miracle at Christmas: Ebbie's Story) (1995) Susan plays a nasty department store owner in this version of "A Christmas Carol". The story of Scrooge has been retold far too many times, and this version has nothing new to offer.

6. Double Edge (1992) Susan has 2 roles- as a hit woman, and the FBI woman who is trying to catch her. This movie isn't great, but I do like the fact that Susan speaks with a "New Yawk" accent when she's playing the FBI woman.

7. French Silk (1994) My least favorite of all the movies on this list. I found it so boring and uninteresting that it was difficult to finish.

I have met and talked to Susan Lucci many times (a lovely person, by the way).
Her first made-for-television film was "Invitation to Hell" co-starring the
late great Robert Urich. I found this film in the "bargain bin" and gave it
to Susan when we talked several years ago. She was greatful to receive it as
she did not have a copy. This film was grade B-, in my opinion.

Also, in her book she says that she starred with Tony Curtis where he played
Sam Giancana and Susan played his daughter in a made-for-television film
(title I forget at the moment). This one was pretty good.

I believe that one is called Mafia Princess. I've only seen Seduced and Betrayed and Blood on Her Hands.

There's also INVITATION TO HELL, where she plays Satan, who runs a health spa which has a gateway to Hell through the sauna!!

There's also INVITATION TO HELL, where she plays Satan, who runs a health spa which has a gateway to Hell through the sauna!! >>> That is the one I was thinking of the moment I saw this thread. It's kind of an absurd film, yet I have such fond memories of it! The husband's family accepts her invitation and they are replaced by evil versions. He discovers the secret and dons an astronaut suit to go into hell and rescue his family!

Whose idea was it for the word "Lisp" to have an "S" in it?

Between Love and Hate was definitely one of the best. Invitation to Hell is hysterical and campy....and it's on DVD! LOL Hoping Between Love and Hate will be on DVD sometime.
