Did you delete your IMDb account?

I hope they don't delete inactive accounts, because I plan on never going back there again unless they bring back the boards, at which point I'd like to start using mine again.

Nope. I just deleted the app. I'm not going to waste my time on IMDb anymore. My lack of presence will be felt ;) if I stay on and not do anything. Lol it's gonna fold soon anyway.

Was anyone's user account still up after the boards went down? I went on to delete mine and found it already gone.

I deleted my 10 year account right after the boards shut down without hesitation...but not before I saved my list of over 500 movies to a CSV file. I'll later transfer it to either TMDb or here if that option ever becomes available to us. I only made a couple reviews so I just left them. Didn't bother with saving or changing my ratings either. Just so pissed off at them for what they did to us, I said screw it and closed shop. I'll probably never go there again without the boards so what's the point in having a account anyway is how I look at it. And even if they return the boards, I probably won't go back either because whose to say they won't pull this shit on us again? Nope...they've lost my trust all together, I'm not letting the same snake bite me twice.

You know what really pisses me off too is that they didn't even have the decency to apologize for their actions! No "apology", no "thank you" and no "goodbye". What a bunch of cold hearted bastards! 😠
