I consider Halloween as the kickoff to the holiday season, which ends on New Years Day. My favorite time of year.

Other than the holidays, winter sucks in Ohio. It is usually damp, grey, and depressing. I don't like being indoors and hate when it gets dark around 5:30 pm.

Give me shorts and flip flop weather any day.
