A website that reviews message board alternatives.

At the website movietvforums.com (full link below), the author of the site has reviewed 34 potential replacements for the IMDb message boards. They have narrowed it down to the top 8 and have given short descriptions for each. moviechat.org does make an appearance and it is spoken of well and all of the negatives they give, have seem to have been solved since the reviews were written.

The best part is that at the bottom of the page, there is a poll that is open to everyone, and movie chat is currently #1 with 34% of the vote.

Yeah, I've seen this link before, it has already been posted here months ago and the author is one of the owners of replacement sites.

Cool. I hadn't heard of half of those, but I'm going to stay right here on MovieChat. I also voted for MovieChat on the bottom of the page.

I would think moviechat.org would be the most user friendly. On all the other databases, it looks very generic in how the forums are placed. I hate the layout.

Generic and dated. And most don't have movie specific threads.

It's like working on those computers that have that dated program with that thick white writing cursor and a black screen, with white words.
