Serious question: Who can the democrats run to defeat Trump in 2020? Please explain your answer.

reason: they are smarter, embrace better policies, are better poised in communication/advocacy, more appealing - once name recognition is established, to the general population, less hateful, less corrupt, less divisive.
sanders & biden already out-poll trump by over 10%. the generic congressional preference is democrats by over 7%.
mid-terms reversed trump's gains in WI, MI, PA.

Biden oversaw Obama invade even more countries than Bush, and infamously said "We need an unrelenting stream of immigrants". I like Sanders and Gabbard, but your candidate has already been chosen for you. It's Kamala Harris Hillary 2.0, unless Hillary herself runs again. Unless your side has a radical wake up moment and rejects elites media and academia within the next two years. Not going to happen when that's what defines you right now.
I think Trump is going to win automatically in 2020 for the simple reason that America has a higher reelection rate than the Soviet Union ever did. The deep state already pulled all the stops to try and beat him in 2016. Now Trump controls some of those levers of power. Are they going to claim Russian hacking again? Did he grab more women by the "p" since 2016? Is there actually a tape recording of him using the "N" word? Old attacks aren't going to work twice. The only real threat is censorship of alternative media by Big Tech.
You're way out of line talking about other candidates having better policy. Policy is universally ignored in the mainstream because any discussion of it at all is kryptonite for them. Hillary's policies were war and bailouts. That election was supposed to be about "qualified experienced woman" versus the opposite. Trump forced issues of substance onto the table. That's why censorship is so important.
It's also not about WI, MI, or PA. Mid-terms reversed Republican gains, not Trump gains. That's normal. You left out Ohio anyway, and it's not well known, but Hillary won about 5 states by smaller margins that in any of those and that was most likely due to fraud. Can you name any single institution or facet of power that wasn't totally in the bag for Hillary? Trump didn't get a single newspaper endorsement even from ones that are explicitly Republican or conservative supposedly.

sharetbh, simone, i'm holding a grudge against the lady for not endorsing bernie in 2016. she's a first rate person, great policies. i do have some reservations, how well-founded they are is a real question other than my cursory ones to date, about her charisma, her steel vis a vis an obvious psychopath with a real gift for baffling the people with vicious bs.
