Emotional pain is worse than physical pain...

Who agrees?

reply

Sort of depends on degree don't you think?

I'd say if someone takes a blowtorch to your skin that would be pretty poignantly painful, far exceeding any emotional pain you could possibly have at that moment.

reply

It's preferable to the realisation that your entire family has been murdered I think.

reply

Fair point. I'd say it'd be a push in the immediate moment. Both would wreck you.

reply

Not agree.

reply

I had peritonitis a few years ago, and I disagree.

reply

Sounds pretty bad but is it worse than working in a North Korean prison camp?

reply

I've never been interred in a prison camp, but I understand that they include plenty of physical pain, as well as emotional.

Bad example. So... which would you rather have, peritonitis or a divorce?

reply

Hmm, I wouldn't have gotten married in the first place.

reply

Both of them suck.

reply

Any kind of pain is something that we could do without, but at the end of the day, emotional pain is worse.

reply

I've had both intense physical and emotional pain, and can't say either is worse than the other. My first inclination was to say emotional pain is worse, but then thought back to the times I've had severe physical pain, and yeah, it's a draw.

reply

The one physical pain that surpasses all the others is the pain of diarrhoea! 😫

reply

That sucks, but it's a tiny, tiny annoyance when compared to having a dislocated and fractured shoulder 😨

reply

I've never had a dislocated or fractured shoulder thankfully.

reply

I hope you never do. Or get kidney stones. I've never had kidney stones but lots of people say the pain from them the very worst. I don't want to find out through personal experience 😬

reply

Emotional pain is harder to treat, that's for sure

reply

As someone who has twice suffered the pain of kidney stones, I definitely disagree.

reply

I couldn't really agree or disagree
I'm trying to avoid both Amigo

reply

It depends what your threshold of pain is.
