Freedive on Amazon Prime

I've seen a couple of movies in the past few days on Prime that say you can watch them on IMDb Freedive free, with ads.

So far they haven't been any movies I've got a strong enough desire to see to have to tolerate ads again.

Has anyone used this? How many ads do they show? I ditched Hulu because the ads were way too many and too frequent.

Shogie, didn't you mention you had this with your Firestick?

reply

Not available here in Canada yet. I have tried Vudu which has commercials but I don't find them onerous.

reply

Yes
I've used it a few times
I saw The Homesman with Tommy Lee Jones that you and db said was good (it was very good!)

The ads are not terrible, they run a couple short ones every twenty minutes or so...2 minutes and the movie is back on and from the few times I've used the service their their movies do not seem to be edited for material

reply

Thanks, Shog. I can deal with a few short ones every 20 minutes :)

P.S. Glad you liked The Homesman. A heartbreaker, but so good.

Without spoiling anything I'm still not sure why the second act wrapped up the way it did:(
I remain very stunned

Very fine movie overall, Swank and Jones were awesome together👍
I'd love to see them play off each other in another film!

reply

I was surprised that the main character exits rather early.

reply

Yeah, it was shocking, but I thought very effective. They were great together!
