Who are some actors most think are excellent, but you just don’t see it?

Ryan Reynolds feels like one. He seems to have done terribly for years, only to make one real winner - Deadpool - and yet never got canned by Hollywood beforehand no matter how many duds he made. I don't dislike the man, but his acting isn't good generally.

Nicole Kidman. She is good in some roles but in many roles she just shows up with a few fashion model-faced emotions and barely disguises her accent.
Good choice. I had the misfortune of watching The Invasion last week. I know it's considered one of her worst films, but really shows how bad she is without a talented director to lead her.

Eddie Murphy during his later years, I thought his last great movie he did was "The Nutty Professor" (1996), since then his actual talent has declined, I loved his earlier films a lot.
