Home food hacks
I use cream cheese instead of butter when making kraft dinner. So much better
shareThere is no substitute for the real things. Butter, sugar, eggs, milk etc etc. This is not a reflection on anyone else's choices.
shareHeres a good food hack for you lazy soup lovers. If you like chicken dumpling soup but dont have the time or ingredients for the dumplings, theres a very cheap a fast way to have your soup. use flour tortillas, i like to use jalapeño flour tortillas. The thicker the tortilla the better. Cut them up in squares and throw them in at the end. You'll know its done when the tortillas puff up and get all soft like a dumpling.
shareGreat idea
shareNice. I've used quartered refrigerated biscuits too.
shareUsing stir-fried onions as a base. You put a couple of chopped onions in a pan, then you can add anything. Ham, meat, chicken, vegetables, tomato, eggs, mushrooms, pasta, rice, whatever you add, it combines fine and blends it together. You don't even need to stir constantly, adding a bit of water prevents the onion to get burnt, so you can set a 10 minutes timer and check if it's done.
