i don't know that daily life is all that stressful for most people. it seems to me that, assuming you live in the u.s. or canada or someplace like that, you likely have an incredibly good life by any historical measure. there's lots & lots of irritations that we all go through in our lives, but most of them are really very small & not terribly important at all.
some might say that seeing the positive in our lives in taking a glass half full perspective. i think that's understating the case. for most of us, our glasses are full. we don't have to worry about getting enough calories or clean water. we live in nice apartments or houses. we really, truly have almost nothing to worry about.
i don't think there's anything weird about finding that pleasant. we have a pretty good deal, & we should spend more time appreciating that, and less time worrying about ourselves.
