Is anyone going to see The Conjuring 3 this weekend?

I really want to, but I'm still worried about staying in a crowded theater right now. I'm hoping it gets a digital rental release soon.

Didn't even know it was out this weekend. I loved the first one. Thought the second was okay. I'll wait till this one gets a home release.

So funny you asked. I have a friend who has one of those group things going on and has the theater next Thursday night - he offered me 2 tickets, so I'm going.
I never saw #1 or #2 - do you think there will be problem understanding what is happening in this one without having seen the others?

I have a feeling it will be a self-contained storyline. There might be references to the Warrens' previous cases, but there should be enough information in their interactions.

Yes actually I am!

I have a friend who loves the first two and is really excited about seeing the third so I’m treating them to a night at the movies. Will be my first time in a cinema since January 2020 so I’m looking forward to it.

That was the last time I went to a movie theater. It will be nice to be back in one.
