Why is it no one ever refers to Jews as Middle Eastern people? Whenever someone says Middle Eastern people automatically think Arab. Just a thought

Because Ashkenazi Jews are not Middle Eastern, they are European.

Because Ethiopian Jews are not Middle Eastern, they are African.
