Boromir's guess the famous game #414 [Khalid ibn al-Walid is the famous person, Boromir wins!]

I'm thinking of some famous figure, it can be a philosopher, politician, entertainer, scientist, fictional character, criminal, animal, being, etc.
2. You need to ask me a yes or no question about this person, for example, "Is the person still alive?," "Does the person work in the entertainment industry?," any question you can think of that helps you to reveal the answer. The host answers with yes or no only.
3. Maximum 1 question and 2 guesses per player per answer.
4. The winner can either start a new game or say "pass." In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another.
5. Can't edit a question or guess once posted. Delete ONLY.

Boromir wins with Khalid ibn al-Walid, one of the early converts to Islam and a companion of the Prophet Muhammad. Initially he fought against the Muslims, but then converted to Islam and became one of the main military commanders of the new Caliphate, suppressing the rebellions after Muhammad's death in the Ridda Wars and spearheading the Rashidun Caliphate's conquest of Persian and Byzantine territory in Iraq, Syria and Palestine. A military genius, he never lost a single battle, and routinely defeated armies several times the size of his own with his mastery of tactics and terrain. He was finally relieved of command by Caliph Umar, who felt that Khalid was becoming too arrogant and that his constant victories were creating a personality cult that might lead Muslims to worship him rather than God.

His exploits are covered in these excellent historical documentaries on Youtube about the early Muslim expansion. It makes fascinating viewing.
