With American Beauty, there was a deleted scene where Colonel Fitts is on trial for Lester's murder. I'm not sure why they cut it.

shareDidn't the original script have Jane on trial & Rickey commited? Plus, Col. Fitts turning over the video tape to police of Jane (semi-jokingly) telling Rickey to kill her father?
IIRC, that was a special feature on the initial DVD release.
Oh yes, that's right. This actually shows even moreso how much Kevin Spacey's character was done dirty.
