The death of sitcom popularity?

I am talking about the classical "20 minutes" sitcom format. Shows like Modern Family,How I Met Your Mother, etc.
Since the last popular ones ended, some years ago now (HIMYM ended in 2014,Big Bang Theory in 2019,Modern Family in 2020,etc.) there are basically no "popular" sitcoms anymore! With popular i mean sitcoms that are talked about also in forums,in social networks, and popular among young people, like the ones i mentioned before were. I guess maybe Young Sheldon is kinda popular, and maybe its spinoff will be too? But those are all part of the TBBT franchise. Now there will be the The Office reboot, and maybe that one will be talked about, but that is also a spin-off. How I Met Your Father was also a spin-off but was not very popular.
So i think that the genre of sitcom is now falling off popularity-wise. Will it know a rebirth in future? Its one of my favorite genres so i would like that. Surely the rise of "wokeness" penalizes the creation of good humor, but maybe that is not the only reason. Young people like the "fantasy" genre too much, and dont like sitcoms anymore? I dont know. What are the reasons of the fall according to you,and how can the sitcom genre get a relaunch?

I think the major problem with most sitcoms is they are forced and not funny. Farcical.

The OFFICE reboot will last one season and probably be on the Peacock Network

I have no idea. The last sitcom that I cared about was Seinfeld, which ended 26 years ago. Several years ago I tried watching Big Bang Theory, because it seemed to be a popular one at the time, but it was wicked shitty.

I think sitcoms ended for me when Two and A Half men ended. There hasn't been one worth watching since and yes Wokeness is to blame. Too many people worried about protecting the feelings of the blue haired freaks on twitter. Also I hate seeing these trash articles talking about badly sitcoms age. My answer to them is to shut the fuck up.
