It's probably not news to anyone that Jim Carrey started his carreer in stand up comedy. What many may not know is that Jim's father, Mr. Percy Carrey was the one who encourage his son to get into stand up, after realizing how funny his son was.

Jim Carrey started by doing impressions and got to be known for being extremely good at it.

He has mentioned before that he was able to make 150 different people.

Was his "break through" not back ground role doing a Guns n Roses impression in a Clint Eastwood movie in the 80's because Eastwood had seen Carreys impression of him and found it so funny that he made a party just for him in the movie?
