Can Anyone Explain Why He Chose 'Oogieloves'?

shareMoney always seems like the most obvious answer, but even with this suspicious multimillion dollar budget, I can't imagine his appearance would garner that big of a paycheck. Theoretically, maybe most of that budget went to paying the fairly well-known cast in order to coax them to appear in the film, but I don't think it justifies their lack of dignity. I mean, that clip was all sorts of whack! Maybe he just doesn't care to challenge himself as an actor anymore...
