He's be living with Parkinson's since the early 90s. It seems like a likely statement the disease will eventually take his life.

shareIt's really sad, but I also appreciate how clear-sighted he is. The last few decades must have been painful for him, but in all other respects, he's lived a good life (a happy marriage, an amazing career, albeit one that sadly had to end prematurely, a decent, generous, warm disposition). I don't say that to mitigate how tough and unfair things have been for him, but to pay testament to him as a human-being who has used his life well.
