Here's the lineup so far:

Five Easy Pieces
Chinatown
The Passenger
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
The Shining

I'm a much bigger fan of his earlier works. I'm very reserved when it comes to buying DVD's, so they have to be films I love.

Every film except Thunder Island all on DVD, except The Fortune which is a VHS.

Thank You. Its taken a long time.

I'm 28 now. I first discovered Jack when my parents showed me The Shining at the age of 11, forcing me to put a blanket over my head during the naked chick scene. LOL. But after that film something in me changed. I did a book report on him. Photo copying his works for my paper which listed all his films. I was obsessed. So my mother had to take me to Blockbusters so I could start eliminating these films from the list. Besides Batman which I had seen in the theater being a kid and The Shining, Easy Rider was the third film I saw, then Cuckoo's Nest and the list goes on. He's been my hero ever since. There isn't anything I don't know about him. I've met him twice. Once at a Lakers game, the other in Boston, where I'm from, he was Shooting The Departed. I had him sign my Kobe Bryant Jersey, Jack liked it but I almost didn't get out of the crowd alive. LOL

Most of the Nicholson films are on DVD except Thunder Island which isn't even on VHS and The Fortune which is on VHS but won't burn to DVD. It has codding. Some do and some don't. I hardly ever watch the really old ones cause they suck. The Raven took years to track town but The Terror I must have 4 copies of because they include in every Nicholson set. I also needed Ensign Pulver so I had to buy another Nicholson set, it was $4 so not a bad deal.

I'm still waiting on The Last Detail, Terms of Endearment, The Crossing Guard to hit Blu-Ray. WTF.

I recommend purchasing Chinatown on Blu-Ray it's great and filled with two great documentaries. Also, Hoffa comes out the 18th of Sept 2012 on Blu-Ray...can't wait. :)

No problem. :) I bet it would've taken quite a while to own them all.

You sound like a loyal fan of Jack's. I only discovered and became obsessed with him when I was 15, I'm 17 now and I'm still obsessed! My first Jack film was 'One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest' but it wasn't until my second viewing of the film when I became fascinated by him. You're so lucky that you got the meet him twice, I've always dreamed of meeting him. :)

Yeah I thought so, I tried looking for 'Thunder Island' (which I still have yet to see) on Amazon and eBay. Hopefully 'The Fortune' comes out on DVD soon as well as the Blu-Ray version of 'The Last Detail', 'Terms of Endearment', and 'The Crossing Guard'.

I'll definitely get the Blu-Ray version of 'Chinatown' and 'Hoffa' as soon as I can. :)
