She aged Badly

Mia Sara looks awful for her age in my opinion, well the last time I saw her in anything which was the original "I Love the 80s" from 2002. I don't get it. When Mia Sara did "Timecop" in 1994 she still looked hot. She was 27 and she still looked exactly recognizable as the same Mia Sara that played Sloan 8 years earlier in 1986's "Ferris Beuller's Day Off".

But then 8 years later in 2002 she shows up on "I Love the 80s" and looks just awful for 35. She looked like an older woman of 45, perhaps even 50, but certainly not 35. She looked so different, it's hard to recognize her as Mia Sara. Just awful aging for only 35. What happened? Too much booze and drugs?

Did anyone else think this? OK, now it's 2006, what does she look like now that it is 4 years removed from her gig on those VH-1 specials?

I totally agree - she looked very haggard for her age. How sad!

Saw photos of her at the Saturn Awards with Jim Hensen in May 2005 and she looked very good. She must have had a bad day for the VH1 interview.

i second that! she still looks good! better then jennifer aniston! she also
looked very good in her last movie, hoodlum and son in 2003! i certainly
hope she makes a comeback, as she's better then some of the so called "stars"
out there today!

I agree that she really did look like she had aged badly the few times I have seen her of late. I had wondered the same thing about drugs/alchol 'cause they will most def age someone's face. However, still a beautiful girl/woman.

I agree with you. I am her age, and I don't look that old! Perhaps cigarettes contributed to what she looks like. I did not recognize her either on the I love the 80's show. I wonder if they'll do a Ferris B 20 years later movie!
Wouldn't that be cool. Sloan and Ferris marry and have to deal with their teenage son in 2006.
