Ripe for a comeback.

There is something very intriguing about when he's onscreen in Mr. Robot. He's always been a good actor, even great sometimes.

I haven't seen Mr. Robot, but I'm a fan of Christian Slater. I'm not sure why so many of his TV shows fail because I think he's a very good actor. There's something about his voice and his expressions that draw me in. I think he provides a lot of intrigue and acting seems to be effortless to him. I agree though...he's ready for a comeback. I think he's great.

I think his role in Mr. Robot is a comeback, at least to (quality) television. Hopefully, it will lead to some good film roles.

Well a comeback is either on film or TV isn't it Ryan, So don't know why you said at least to television -Got renewed for season 2 so is looking really good for the show-obviously unless it was for a mini series

He's never really left and he's never been very big either. Always just circling the edges of the mainstream.

reply

Never been very big?!! You must be young. I'm in my late thirties and Christian Slater was BIG in the 90s with movies like Heathers, which was classic, and in movies like True Romance, Interview with a Vampire and Untamed Heart. He was in some big productions.

reply

riverphoenix1 Well if your in your late 30's then you would know he was also very big in the 80's as well!

reply

He was an A-lister in the late 80's/early 90's. I'm glad he won the Golden Globe, he's always been very charismatic and a capable actor.

Also Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. That was a huge movie.
