I'm not going to post in the mountain of other posts in that other thread.

Guys... it's Christian Slater.
Do you know who that is?
All the girls wanted him back in the 80's.
The Legend of Billie Jeanie.
Gleaming The Cube.
He was really cute back then.
Very thin and had great hair.

He just didn't maintain his thin looks and hair after the mid 90's well.
Got press for drinking a lot, etc.

But if he thinned down to like he was and had that long hair, you'd get it.

It's kinda like Leo. Leo looks very handsome in Catch Me If you Can.
Other movies he's not as thin and his head looks a bit too round.

A few pounds and their wrong hair cut can make worlds of difference.

Sure, it's age, but he could look very good. It's just that his genetics aren't amazing enough to keep his fat burning profile and metabolism the same as when he was a kid. It's rare, but being a little bit thinner can make all the difference in the world. Plus hair doesn't last. But, he could get work done and look very cute again. Hell, most women think he still looks hot.

But, he could look super hot.

Another reason he's not quite as hot is because someone like say Ryan Gosling has a lot of style and character. You can teach that. He's smooth.

Growing up, I had a friend who was just crazy about Christian Slater. At the time, I didn't get it. I simply couldn't understand why she was making such a fuss over him. I mean, sure, he was cute. But he just wasn't that appealing to me. And besides, how could I, "cheat," on my celebrity crush at the time, Corey Haim? But now, years later, I can see why my friend made such a fuss over Christian. I've come to appreciate him.

By the way: I did eventually get over Corey Haim. I just can't remember who I moved on to, though.

Pretty sure he has had work done and I think it did more harm than good. Looks like he had a brow lift and he has definitely had botox. If he gets anything else done he'll end up like Axl Rose.

Amen, he was cute enough to come back to us 40 somethings and we'd love him in a romantic lead. But now, especially with his whole mimicry of Nicholson I'd rather not. Go back to being himself and I'd be there-husband in tow.

He's been mimicking Jack Nicholson for years, since Heathers at least, even starred in the Broadway version of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Nicholson is his idol.
