Having Mark Wahlberg present a sag award to the asian cast is evil!

Whites are evil:

Mark Wahlberg (who’s committed multiple hate crimes including against asian people) giving sag ensemble prize to a predominantly Asian cast is genuinely such an embarrassing thing for hollywood to do:

White Mark Walhberg SLAMMED for presenting SAG Award to Asian cast of Everything Everywhere All At Once following his past hate crime conviction for assaulting Asian men!!

reply

I understand that many feel offended by this! Apparently toxic masculinity is alive and flourishing in Hollywood. I like him as an actor but maybe canceling him would be the best thing right now?

reply

Has it gone too far now with all the white bashing , the request to cancel , the male hatred? MW is slammed for something that happened 40 years ago ?

reply

The thing is, did they know beforehand which film the award was going to? Did Walhberg know?

It reminds me of when AMPAS was slammed for 'racism' over the whole Moonlight/La La Land 'Best Picture' fiasco, but, once again, did the people who screwed-up, know beforehand that the recipient was going to be Moonlight? Surely there has to be an element of intent or at least foreseeability when it comes to the charge of racism.

Imho Mark Wahlberg is completely innocent here. He might have been "set up" by SAG and a planned smear campaign lurking in the shadows.

reply

I don't know about conspiracy theories. What does SAG have to benefit from setting up Wahlberg and thus making themselves look bad/inept in the process?

But I do agree that Wahlberg isn't to blame for *this*.
