Her beauty at the age of 59 is simply astounding. I can honestly say I've never seen a woman who has aged as well as her in my entire life. If you don't believe me, google image her name, you'll find a recent pic.

shareRaquel Welsh is much older than Karen Allen & you are right she looks incredible for her age. She is listed at 70 & she can very well be older since many of them list their age younger{it is usually about 4 years}than they really are. I'm definetly not saying Raquel lied about her age, I would have no idea. She probably is 70, & damn she looks unbelievable at 70 years old. She would still look great even if her age was much younger than 70.
When I first saw Karen Allen in "Animal House" I said this is one beautiful woman. In a interview a couple of years back she knocked all those actresses who start getting face lifts at 40 and even younger and after a few years & and a few more lifts they all have the same strange look to them with their once beautiful faces are now all pushed up making their faces all unfortunately having the same look when they get older. She said she has no problem getting older and will never get a face lift. In her case looking at her face I totally believe her but it so sad when you here others say the same thing & it is so obvious they had a lot of work done on their face.
Most use botox and sadly start the stuff as early as in their 20's. Karen and Raquel might of had some very simple things done and maybe use botox but I have no problem with that. I have no problem with the ones who overdue it too. I might not like it, but it is their choice & sometimes the plastic surgeon should in really bad cases when they are addicted to keep getting work done to tell them to stop. I work behind the scenes in films and I'm right next to the ones who overdue it, so I'm very aware what is going on. My first cousin is a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon & he has told me confidentially some things which would just blow your mind and he has said no to some who are obviously addicted to keep getting work done. What he has told me I know is very confidential and I would never reveal it here. That is why certain things people who you obviously have no clue who they are on the internet like on these IMDB boards will say things about certain famous people like they know them or somebody they know, know them, or they went to school with them and in some cases they will say some awful things about them. You have no clue who these people are and most them if they really knew the person they would keep it to themselves. In some rare cases they are really telling the truth but how would you really know.
Unfortunately, my cousin does a lot work on bad jobs done by other plastic surgeons & depending what he is trying to correct he said he can only do so much for somebody who gets work done by a bad plastic surgeon who also trys to influence them in getting more work done & they are already susceptible in gettings things done, so they think they will look better and younger especially when it comes out of the mouth of a plastic surgeon. It so important to really know the work done by the platisic surgeon your seeking to see even if you are a well known person with a lot money does not mean you'll always find a good plastic surgeon. Even though my cousin is still young he is considered one of the top plastic surgeons & definetly takes the work he does seriously & unfortunately not all do.
In most cases the reason both sexes get all this work done on them is because they want their careers to not only keep getting acting roles but good roles. Unfortunately, for the 40 or 50 year old woman their careers in a lot of cases crash because when a woman especially{I am not being sexist but is unfortunately true but it is much better now than it ever was} starts to age especialy when they don't age very well, they don't get the juicy roles anymore and even if they continue to work they get a lot "mother" roles in films where the mother is far from the main character.
I started my long{sorry, if you are still reading this, you deserve some kind of reward} post talking about 2 incredibly looking woman. I hope as male who enjoys the work of great actresses that they can continue to get juicy roles when they got older just like the men & they can do it without getting way too much work done on them.
I am a big fan of Karen Allen, and I really hope she continues to work as long as she wants too.
Donna Mills, Raquel Welch, & Sally Field look beautiful and even more so as they go on...but I agree Karen Allen is and always will be beautiful as well!
I should add Connie Sellecca, Madeline Stowe and Jane Seymour to that list.

Of course, all the women mentioned in this thread were beautiful to start out with -- it was a question of maintaining it -- and they have!
