shareI just heard the news and am beyond thrilled. I hadn't seen much of SVU (a favorite show of mine) lately, but I did catch Ann's amazing, scene-stealing performance. It's hard to believe it's her first win, but not hard to believe she's received several previous Emmy nominations. Congrats to her and to Law and Order: SVU. Its female guest stars almost always seem to take an Emmy home or get a nomination (Cynthia Nixon and Leslie Caron won; Marcia Gay Harden and Angela Lansbury were nominated, these are but a few examples).

It was the Creative Arts Emmy's - it's a separate award show from the mainstream Emmy's. It's taped, but I'm not sure it's even aired at all.

Sooooo Happy she won!! She totally Deserved that Emmy.. I saw her on that episode of Law & Order, Man she was amazing... Deserving of her Emmy Award.. she looked Great with John Lithgow on stage too!! Congrads!! AM!!
