Prince Philip AND George Bush Sr.? WOW!

He played both Prince Philip and George Bush Sr. Talk about acting credits! This guy should be considered one of the greatest actors (not celebrities, big difference) that ever graced the screen. Truly amazing talent.

And like so many know him, he probably won an Oscar for being onscreen the whole time, and saying very few words - another example of great acting!

A true beauty

He was so perfect in both roles, I can no longer imagine anyone else playing them half as well. And it's not as if Prince Philip and Poppy Bush are dead ringers for each other, either.

I will be extremely disappointed if he doesn't get a Best Supporting Actor nomination at next year's Oscars.

Plus at least three other Presidents - Lyndon Baines Johnson twice, D. Wire Newman in an episode of The West Wing and whatever the name was of the President in The Sum of All Fears. Have I missed any out? Oh, he was also a Senator at one point...

I see I have a lot of catching up to do. I can start with his LBJ in the forthcoming film, Flying into Love.

You may add Lyndon B. Johnson to the list. I wonder which historical figure will be next, Joe Kennedy (JFK/RFK's father) maybe?

reply

You're right, he does look like Joseph Kennedy Sr. patriarch of the Kennedy Family.
