HBO Watch can now confirm what Deadline reported earlier today: Goldie Hawns new pilot for HBO The Viagra Diaries has been green lit! The show is a half-hour comedy created by Sex and the City producer Darren Star. Based on a book by Barbara Rose Brooker, Viagra Diaries centers on a woman whos husband leaves her after a mid-life crisis at the age of 65. The series will focus on the trials and tribulations of people in their 60′s.
The project is still looking for a director and filming is set to begin in spring of 2012. That would put the show in line for either a late 2012 premiere date or an early 2013 release. Stay tuned for more information about this new show starring Academy Award winning actress Goldie Hawn, created by the man who brought you Sex and the City!
