Maybe besides his role in Carlitos Way which was decent.
Haven't likes him in a god damn thing.
He was espicialy badly cast in Summer of Sam.

Have you seen this guys resume? he has been in a plethora of films, some bad yes... but some great films as well. John is a great character actor and very professional. Met him on Land of the Dead back in 2004 during filming. Constant professional... always ready to try something new. Not too mention the guy has been in the business over 20 years if he is so horrible I think his career would have died by now.
I can't blame him for Summer of Sam... the film itself was total garbage. Spike Lee is not that great of a filmmaker, aside from his early stuff and Inside Man... he is mediocre at best as a filmmaker.
But John, he is good guy...
