She is a very good actress
To me she is a great actress. I like that she is not super flashy, but she can be very glamorous in certain parts, and then in character parts she really just submerges right into the part.

shareThe best, I think. Such diversity. The young innocent in Fast Times, crazy fast speaking reporter in Hudsucker Proxy, Single White Female, Hateful Eight. That's diversity. Meryl Streep wishes she could be that diverse.
shareSHe's capable of good work, that's for sure. "Rush" comes to mind. "The Machinist". "SIngle WHite Female". "Dolores Clairborne". I'm sure if I stayed on here I could think of a lot more but even just those four prove she's a very capable actress.
shareMany young people might not be familiar with her performance in the very downbeat Last Exit to Brooklyn. She's great in Mrs. Parker and the Viscious Circle and Robert Altman's Kansas City.
