If he were really boring, uninteresting, and overrated, you wouldn't remember him enough to find his board and post your comment on it; let alone waste time discussing him. You wouldn't even remember his name let alone use caps to express your passion about hating him.
If you can say "every time" regarding his performances, you've obviously seen many.
When I decide that I hate an actor I never watch them again. There's no everytime for me. I don't even go to their message boards. What's the point?
He's not any of those things. But you still know what you're getting with Malkovich in the cast list. Lots of quiet before screaming. And there aren't too many who scream better than Malkovich so what's not to like? I bet he and Michael Bay will get along famously.
