He left a great comedic film record.
I hadn’t realized how many of my favorite film comedies he was the genius behind. I just watched anew Ghostbusters II on VH1HD. Despite all the commercial interruptions (best to use your DVR and then fast forward thru those ads of no interest to you), it still is funny! Features great comic performances from Dan Akroyd and Rick Moranis. (Of course, Harold R. and Bill Murray are very good also, but I think Akroyd and Moranis were given the funnier bits. )
