Hope not too! The last movie had great rating but the 18-49 demographic was low and that was the main reason CBS didn't order another one. There was some talk of shopping it to another network but I haven't heard anything else about that.

According to Tom, CBS won't do made for tv movies any more. My hopes are for Lifetime or Hallmark.

Hallmark did pick it up and new movies have been announced.

HallmRk mysteries is currently (Jan '17) showing reruns of the old Jesse Stone shows.

Go to the imdb and check Jesse Stone 2017, it's still untitled as of late April.

I heard that CBS dropped the series because they were watched by mainly older viewers and they were shifting away from movies to shorter tv series.

Hi Earl, that's what I've heard as well. But then I found out that Hallmark took over and that the 10th Jesse Stone TV movie was supposed to be released in May 2017.
It's now end of April and there is still no release date in the imdb :(.
