Only a minority will know any lines from Shakespeare other than the most obvious ones anyway.

The only issue is that we've had 400 years to pick at his best hits. That said, he was clever in a way that even the most mundane of his lines, taken out of context, still sounds cooler than anything anyone is currently creating. So yeah, let's find some really amazing way he described someone putting shoes on. It'll beat 99% of current culture's best lines. "And the lace in doing, was undone anew..."
