Can he remember moments of being a jerk or nice to fans

It would be interesting to know if the story's of him are just that he has pathological problems he can't control, and does he ever say he's sorry.

Now ask me how I really feel, I'm just here for the comments.

I have to agree that I don't know if he is a jerk or is just stuck on himself. I will give him the benefit of the doubt although I wish he would lose about 20 pounds. I am glad to see that his career has done well and I wish him well.

Just one thing I hope he thinks about from time to time. He was not the first choice for the Captain Kirk but it looks like he was the right choice. I know you cannot believe everything you read on the internet but before his name came up, a number or other actors were considered for the part. I am aware that Jeffrey Hunter made the pilot but turned down the Captain Pike role for a TV series. Maybe if he had taken it he would not have gotten hurt in a movie in Europe and had a stroke and died awhile later at the young age of 38 from what may have been a concussion. Jack Lord had the part nailed down but wanted more money than they wanted to pay him. I also heard that in the early, early talking stage of it that Eric Fleming, who was still alive, was considered for the part and if he had gotten it maybe he would not have gone to Peru to make a move and drowned there. So Jeffrey Hunter and/or Eric Fleming may have lived longer had they become Captain Kirk. I am sure he knew all of those people and I hope Mr. Shatner gives this a thought and a bit of thanks that he got the part of a lifetime and was able to make a career of it. Best Wishes, Mr. Shatner.

I'm glad to hear Eric Fleming was still alive when he was offered the role.

Those are excellent points you make. The question I've really got comes in asking if you met him once briefly, and he was rude (just like with anyone) do they remember you at another time.

No but maybe I will get to someday. I hope he continues to work and take care of himself.

I met him, and he was very pleasant to me. His minder was a douche, though.

When you say sorry for not being the many good parts of William Shatner he might very accurately judge that he's got little to be sorry about in the grand scheme of things. Famous people labelled rude often want to be allowed to choose when they engage with people because that's a luxury that all the public have. And the public often enjoy their work for free too. The public are not always benevolent people on the same wavelength. Many more of the public kill celebrities than vice versa.

He doesn't owe the fans a thing
