Trump imitated a disabled reporter?

Yes he did. But he didn't imitate his disability. He used the same kind of gesturing when mocking Ted Cruz and multiple other people who are not disabled. So what we be the explanation for that? There is simply no more excuse for this kind of ignorance. Also, don't you (people who are perpetuating this lie) realize, that this going to hurt your own agenda in the long run? There are plenty of things Trump can be criticized for, so there is no need for lying, especially when it can be as easily debunked as this one. It will just result in more and more people not believing you, even if you say something true.

Nonsense. Watch the video. And if your best defense is that Trump has used these gestures all the time, are we supposed to take comfort that he uses a grotesque "spastic" routine to mock everyone who dares tell the truth about him?

If you are so bothered by all the other instances where he used these kinds of gesturing then tell me why it only became a big deal when he used it against a disabled reporter? And how does this fit with the narrative that he mocked the reporter specifically for his disability? Am I supposed to believe this abundantly used gesture all of a sudden means sth. different to Trump when it went against the reporter? And it is YOU who is saying that it is spastic. To me it looks like someone who is nervous and trying to get of a bad situation and doesn't know what to say. I would have never seen that it could be interpreted as spastic if it wasn't for all the news outlets constantly perpetuating that he must have mocked the disability of a reporter, which is quite funny because it means that people like you are actually making this insult kind of exist in the real world where it would not be without your outrage. So congratulations.

reply

The point is moot anyway and_hundred, because he was not mocking a disability, he was mocking someone being flustered.

The funny thing is that I don't remember the press going in on Barack when he was on Leno a few years back and he compared his bowling game as comparable to something at the special olympics. Not a peep, but Donald gets the third degree. I think we can all agree that there is a double standard in the media.

And notice also how nobody responded to your post. They don't want to know the truth. They want to stay mad.

Because that's the first time he ever did it.

And that should tell you something.

Which, of course, is a lie. He's always been animated when he speaks. This is just an example of the the left showing their hatred by tying it to something to try to discredit President Trump.

There's a difference between being animated and imitating spasms.

He doesn't need anybody's help to do that. But by all means, if you can find any examples of Trump mocking someone using the same hand movements prior to his mocking Kovaleski, I'm all ears.
