Love his squibs....
Can't get enough of his over the top special effects in his action films especially from total recal and robocop. The squibs look like they are twice the size as the ones used in any other movie making it extra gory and a lot of fun to watch. Before I knew much about movie making or Paul verhoven at all I always knew those two movies seemed very similar in the way of special effects and thought they might have been made by the same guy.
