can't figure why she's not a big star...

She should be up there with Aniston, Diaz and Bullock. What's happening....?

reply

She's not too far behind those, as far as I can tell.

Signed. Absolutely don't get why she's not up there as in 'way' up there w/ Cameron freakin Diaz or Jennifer Anniston :? lol. Way hotter and more likable and def. didn't F w/ her face like Cameron did. Cameron was kinda hot only in the Mask. She reeks from simply being a very lucky model, right place and time etc...Prob. knew how to play the game better and chose better roles than Christina. Though Christina's been in the 'game' since a child (also, her mom has been in the biz forever)! Also, was on one of the funniest, iconic TV shows ever w/ a cast who (except for David) all continued to do critically and commercially acclaimed work. Christina reeked from movie star during MWC. She was red hot in every possible way in the 90s and seemed destined for movie super stardom. While Christina is def. well known and def. gets roles (TV, Broadway and movies) w/ lots of nominations and some hit movies, she's more like a solid 'B list actress' who has just a spotty record of success. I think it's a mix of bad decisions (like passing up Legally Blond). I *totally get why she passed it up and think if she took it it 'may' not have done as well since it came out shortly after MWC ended and people/the press woulda prob. shaded her for yet again playing a ditsy blonde type. So...from an artistic standpoint I get why she turned it down. If it wouldn't have done as well, she def. would've forever been typecast. Though she recently admitted she regretted it (obviously lol). The movie was def. big but not this mega blockbuster so I don't think it really 'hurt' her career. Point is she's still around, people like her and still getting major roles all over the place. And at almost 44 still looks fab. and natural. Easily could pass for mid to late 30s. =)
