Does anyone have the actual reason. She did break her Leg at the end of her Sweet Charity run. Was that an accident or abuse by someone close. I know of too many female actresses that had issues with X husband.

No one 'knows' the real reason. There's been speculation about someone she was friendly with during her time in NYC, but her husband came out to see her often.
My guess is it was a combination of things.
Funny how people trying to play off the cheating. Yet, if her husband had cheated on her we would be getting 5+ threads about how much of a disgusting pig he is.
