You could also argue that she is confident, knows who she is, and what she wants.

Maybe she doesn't want smile lines. (wrinkles)

Just becuz someone doesn't smile, doesn't necessarily make them stuck up. Maybe she's just kind of a serious person. But I usually think that when a woman smiles, it makes them more attractive. Having said that... the gorgeous, classy and elegant ones like Monica, can still be incredibly sexy even when they look bitchy or serious.

It could be because she doesn't like how she looks when she smiles and so she doesn't do it - a little vanity sin. It's kind a hard not to notice her lack of smiling, even when posing for photos she only half implies smile.

But she has this incredibly sensual presence/expression/vision all the time. And her being serious actually emphasis it imo.

Got here because of "Malena" playing on the cable right now, what a dreamlike gorgeous woman she is in that film!
