Robert Carlyle's role in Once Upon a Time kind of feels as if I'm watching Johnny Depp playing another crazy character.
It would be a great thing if they had a show together and had some kind of rivalry towards each other while playing a crazy character.

shareWhy? I mean, I love them both; Johnny Depp is my idol and Robert is one of the actors I respect most (I'm almost willing to say that Robert is the better actor of the two, but I love my Johnny too much), but you can't have two creative divas on at once like that.
I mean, think of it; who would you watch? There men are wildly capable of things that very few actors are even brave enough to attempt. That's something special, and you've got to spread it out.

"Had his 15 Minutes"? Not to be a fangirl, but Robert Carlyle will still be a first-rate actor when Johnny Depp is lying bloated and dead in a swimming pool.

I actually don't see much similarity between Robert Carlyle and Johnny Depp, aside from the fact that they are both extremely talented actors who both have my deepest respect. Actually they are both in my Top 3 of absolute best male actors.
I agree, though, that it would be interesting seeing them in a movie together.
