Do you fans think Robert will ever be nominated for an Oscar?

I hope they will nominate him one day for something maybe his new movie he is directing and starring in? If it could only be recognized in Hollywood? There were rumors flying around once that he was going to be nominated for California Solo but nope! Not one award nomination for him from anyone.

He is just to underrated and that is obviously how he likes it I guess. But still alot of unknown actors always get there first oscar nomination. Hell, I would be glad for him if he ever received a Golden Globe nomination or Emmy!

I thought also that Ewan Mcgregor was supposed to have starred with him in his new movie he is directing? Maybe he couldn't get him for some reason?

Although I LOVE Robert Carlisle, sadly I don't think that he'll ever get the recognition he deserves-mainly because his best work doesn't involve Hollywood.
I first noticed him when I was watching Cracker and was so blown away by his acting, that I decided to see who played the part of 'Albie'. I've been hooked ever since!
